All Summer Houses are given two coats of clear preservative during construction. The structure can then be stained using either Cuprinol Garden/Heritage shades or a Ronseal woodstain. Alternatively it can be left unstained for the customer to stain themselves.
Only pressure treated timber is used in the underfloor construction which in turn is protected against rising damp by using a damp proof membrane between the timbers and the ground.
For a watertight finish the roof can be either red or green felt shingles or if prefered, shiplap cladding or feather edge boarding can be used.
Unlike some Summer House suppliers we only use 'Joinery Grade' doors and windows with quality fixings and fittings. |
